AWS account
The Nexgen V3 stack runs in one AWS account. Everything for it is in one region and is deployed with AWS Copilot. This section collects the account-level facts that don't belong to a single app.
The account
These are the account details:
- Account ID:
202077789656(account name Axxya). Console sign-in:https://202077789656.signin.aws.amazon.com/console. - Region:
us-east-1for every resource. - Copilot app:
nexgen-v3, with the environmentsstaging, test, andprod. Each environment has its own Application Load Balancer (ALB), RDS MySQL instance, and DocumentDB cluster.
The older account, 898347667108, ran the V2 apps on EC2. It is no longer in use. If a document or console link points at it, treat it as history and don't run commands against it.
Look around safely
Read-only commands are safe to run at any time. They include any aws command that starts with describe-, list-, or get-, and the Copilot commands copilot svc status, copilot svc logs, and copilot env show. Commands that change something, such as copilot env deploy, copilot svc deploy, aws acm request-certificate, or any write to a database, change shared state. Run them only when you mean to.
To check which account your CLI is pointed at:
aws sts get-caller-identity --query Account --output text
If this doesn't print 202077789656, stop and switch profiles before you go further.
